European Picnic

Since 2002, "Małachowianka" has been participating in the European Picnics which are organized in the city of Płock. The programmes of the picnics are full of various attractions which the inhabitants of Płock can take part in.

The students of "Małachowianka" traditionally make presentations on different European countries. Groups of young people prepare posters, folders, multimedia presentations showing the most characteristic features of the given country.

In 2003, the countries were presented in the form of drama, preparing which gave a lot of pleasure and satisfaction to both students and teachers. The Picnics play an important role in the educational process since they aim at developing people's interest in European countries' culture, shaping pro-European and patriotic attitude, developing interpersonal abilities and co-operation. These are the reasons for the Picnics being the integral part of European education at school.
