Pro-European Activities

"Małachowianka", being the oldest school in Poland as well as one of the oldest schools in Europe, has been participating in various activities aiming at popularization of European values, beauty, diversity and international co-operation. The following are just the most spectacular examples of the school numerous pro-European activities. On 29th and 30th of May 2004, as an integrative part of the 5th European Picnic, The International Conference on tolerance in the modern school "Does the different have to be lonely?" took place in Marshal Stanisław Małachowski High School. Our conference guests represented the following towns: Thurrock (UK), Darmstadt (Germany), Loznica (Serbia), Moldavia, Russia and Italy. Moreover, since 2002, "Małachowianka" has been participating in the European Picnics which are organized in the city of Płock. As far as international exchange programmes are concerned, "Małachowianka" has been cooperating with Bertha von Suttner Integrierte Gesamtschule in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Both schools took part in the Socrates-Comenius project, which helped to establish closer relationships.
